October 6, 10 a.m. at the Roddy Branch TVA boat launch at 4401 co-op road Rockford TN 37853
This is a laid back nine mile out and back paddle focused on exploring the shoreline and wildlife on the tail waters of the narrow, protected Little River close to town. We will look for waterfowl, raptors, abandoned houseboats and the golf course. We can stop at Nauti-k’s marina to eat our lunch or theirs. Expect about 3 hours of paddling time, depending on how much exploring we do.
