Chota members truly enjoy the natural environment in which we practice our sport, and for that we feel strongly that nature should be protected today and for our children. To this end we are active in the preservation and restoration of natural areas and conservation of our natural resources. From volunteer efforts for river cleanups to contacting our government officials, our members are a vital champion of protecting the environment we all enjoy. As an organization Chota actively supports many local, state, regional and national conservation organizations with donations and other resources. Retaining only a small amount of revenue for club operations we donate all monies raised during a given year to these organizations.
