Information
Summer is almost here! Join us for a day of Combat Roll Practice to cap off our winter roll sessions and to get ready for all the summer fun. If your roll is going well in the pool and you're ready to step it up to moving water, this event is for you. We'll have plenty of safety available and we'll work on our rolls in a couple places that are low on consequence and high on room for T-rescues. Speaking of T-Rescues, we'll work on a little of that too if opportunity allows.
This is not a formal club training event. It's a social paddle, so it's paddle at your own risk and challenge by choice.
Where & When: Meet at Reliance Public Takeout at 11AM. We'll try to be done around 4pm, but leave a little room in case we finish late.

Three things are required to participate:
- Active Club Membership
- Current Signed Waiver for 2025
- A reliable pool roll. This is not a learn-to-roll event.
Required equipment: All your paddling gear (helmet, pfd, skirt, boat, paddle), rope, water, snacks, sunscreen. Nose plugs and ear plugs recommended.
Required clothing: The water will still be COLD and we have to plan on spending time in the water. Dry suit or dry top with warm leggings and non-cotton layers. Neoprene (tops and bottoms) would be a great option under a Dry Top. Synthetic base layers like warm running tights and technical long-sleeve shirts work well as layers too. Closed-toed footwear is a must.
